Hi, I am MisterB.

After 25 years of teaching maths internationally — from Turkey to the UK and the Middle East — I now run my own private tuition service.

I’ve taught the English secondary maths curriculum across KS3, IGCSE, and A-Level, working with hundreds of students preparing for major exams.

Most came in with gaps in confidence or understanding. All made real progress — and many achieved the top grades they were aiming for.

Let’s do maths differently. Let’s do it together.

how it all started...

In 2013, I was teaching in a boys’ school in the Middle East, where classroom management was quite a challenge.
The usual drill — teacher talks, students “listen”— just wasn’t cutting it.

Then a colleague showed me a short maths video she had made.
Her class was silent.

Engaged.

Focused.
I thought, why not try it myself?

What began as a classroom management experiment turned into something much bigger.

I discovered that flipping the classroom wasn’t just about videos; it was about power.
Student power.
They had control over the pace; pause, rewind, rewatch — anytime, anywhere.
They came to class ready for more.

So I gave them more: past paper questions, discussion, guidance, feedback.

Over the years, I developed my own version of flipped learning:
In-Class Flipped Mastery.

No homework.
No one-size-fits-all lessons.
Just focused in-class learning, with videos, exercises, and past papers, all under my guidance.
Students learn with me, not from me.

It works.

One student, once stuck at 55%, scored 75% in a year.
His reaction?

Joy / regret:
“I could’ve done even better.”

Most students never want to go back to the old way.
And I don’t blame them, 'cause I don't want either!.

Now I bring that same model to my private tuition — redesigned for today’s learners.
I call it Flipped Tuition.

It’s flexible. It’s personal. It’s built on student agency, guidance, and real progress.
And it’s changing the way students learn and do maths.

Too good to be true?

No.

It just works.

Let's go!.
